How the website operates whilst in lockdown –
Thankfully, we are able to offer the same level of customer service through our website, no matter if we are in lockdown or not. We are still contactable via email or phone and we are still shipping out orders efficiently.
For our local customers, we are pleased to offer you our click & collect service through the website. So, no matter the cost of your order, you can collect from our Swindon Showroom safely free of charge. Once your order is ready to be collected, we will contact you to arrange a collection appointment.

How the showroom operates whilst out of lockdown –
We were excited to open our doors again on June 1st 2020 after the first lockdown. In preparation for this, we adapted our showroom in the following way: screens were fitted to till areas; strict social distancing and hygiene standards were implemented and only a safe number of people were invited into the showroom at a time.
Face coverings are worn by all members of staff. Customers are also to wear face coverings whilst visiting the showroom, unless they are medically exempt.
At the front of the showroom we have a hand sanitising station, allowing all to sanitise on arrival and departure, and we also provide hand sanitiser on our customer consultation tables.
We have implemented a buzzer system. One of our major changes was to keep numbers low within the showroom so everyone is able to easily social distance, but we knew waiting in the rain isn’t fun! So this is our solution… if on arrival we are busy, you will be given one of our numbered buzzers, giving you the option to wait in the luxury of your own car (Gregg’s is next door to us too) until you are “buzzed” in to view our grand selection of lights. It’s a small thing, but we hope this helps with your shopping experience with us.
How the showroom operates whilst in lockdown –
Despite being told by trading standards that we could remain open (as we sell hardware items), at this time, we have made the decision to close our showroom doors in order to help reduce the spread of Covid-19 and protect the NHS.
We will be operating on a click & collect and appointment only basis: only opening the doors if you have an appointment or if you wish to purchase an essential item, such as lamps/bulbs, fuses, switches and cable.
